At AEHCA we believe each of us has a little light to share out into the world. This last year has been filled with lots of new little lights getting brighter and planning to turn on even more in the year ahead. Review our programs, get updated on what's happened recently and some plans for the future.

Providing basic housing to displaced families

We've been busy using the resources you contributed this year to build the foundation of healthy living and education in Guatemala.

We've been funding materials for 4 houses to provide basic housing to displaced families.

We rehabilitated 80 student desks, over 4 schools so far this year and will do 20 more before closing the year.

We've been installing solar-powered electricity in 22 rural Ipala, Guatemala houses.

Supporting medical needs of disabled persons

While continuing to support ambulatory aids our program is working to team with existing clinics to assist persons who can't afford medical tests, lab work, and short-term treatments.

We completed the second of two classrooms with our partners at the high school IDEC. Project complete!

Project completed! 2 of 2 classrooms at IDEC are now complete.

Food support for disadvantaged senior citizens and persons with disabilities is an ongoing significant need. This year we assisted 200 households and hope to increase that number next year.
